Before filming, we wanted to find a dark room that would suit the dark scene of our opening. However, we found that this caused problems with our lighting. This is something we will take in mind when filming our actual Thriller.
Another factor that we came across was the mise en scene. There were many things, such as papers stuck on the window, which made our opening look less eerie. Of course, our location will be better when it comes to filming the Thriller, but it also made us realise how important this is.

We filmed Natalie walking into the room two different ways - one down the corridor, and the other up the stairs - to see which one we liked the best. We thought the latter looked the best. Above our the shots we tried out.
